New Mum for Mum hub opens in Sydney's Northern Beaches

Mum for Mum is broadening its horizons. With a new hub to soon be formally established in Sydney’s Northern Beaches area, more families are being supported.

Through generous private donations and Local Government support, our program is expanding its reach. Planning for another hub in Sydney’s Inner West, started in July 2022. The program also intends to indirectly expand by helping communities to set up their own hubs. ‘With their wealth of local knowledge, local communities are best equipped to support vulnerable and isolated people in their area,’ says CEO Nadene Alhadeff.

‘Since 2008, Mum for Mum has been building the strategies and knowledge that enable us to be present with vulnerable new parents, accompanying them on the difficult path that is the first year of parenthood.  We can share our learning with local communities, empowering them to embrace and support the vulnerable new parents in their midst.’
